I accompanied my husband to see Dr. Shayya to get further information on a troubling memory/cognition test that indicated the beginning stages of Alzheimer's disease. The whole experience was better than I could have wished for. Dr. Shayya's PA, Vivian Perlman, met with us first. She was friendly and professional but most of all she asked both of us the pointed questions to obtain a full picture of exactly what is going on. I had an appointment over telemedicine or FT with Vivian.  It went great, she asked me questions I hadn’t been asked in previous 4 years.  She was very personable and helpful.  Dr Luay Shayys is super nice and  has a great bedside manner.  I moved here from the East Coast and needed a neurologist quickly. I really loved my experience here. Being referred to neuro can be frightening, especially as a young person. But the office and staff made me feel totally at ease. Dr. Shayya is a wonderful, highly professional neurologist who truly listens to his patients. I came in suffering from a severe brain injury, speech stuttering, and severe head spasms. He did not dismiss me or doubt my pain. He completely validated my symptoms, explained exactly why my previous treatment was crashing, and immediately redesigned my medical plan to help me heal.
